II. Key Control Points During Blowdown
Pressure & Process Control
Close the air intake valve and release pressure in stages to a safe range (typically ≤0.2 MPa) to prevent component damage or splashing from rapid decompression .
For dual-valve systems: Alternate valve operation during liquid discharge to mitigate risks from single-valve failure .
Waste Monitoring & Disposal
Monitor discharged materials (e.g., color, odor). Immediately stop operations and report if oil residues, rust, or liquefied gas remnants are detected .
Collect contaminants in dedicated containers. Never discharge directly into the environment or onto the ground.
