A diesel generator is a device that converts the chemical energy in diesel into electrical energy.
A diesel generator, also known as a generator set, is a device that converts the chemical energy in diesel into electrical energy. The internal combustion engine mixes fuel with air, ignites and burns the fuel, produces high-temperature and high-pressure gas, and drives the generator to generate electricity.
It is mostly used in remote areas where there is no access to the power grid. In floods, earthquakes or natural disasters, when natural conditions are harsh,
diesel generators are an ideal solution for providing backup power.
How a diesel generator worksdiesel generator working principle is based on the working principle of an internal combustion engine, which generates power by burning diesel to drive the crankshaft to rotate. Go through the following 4 processes
1. Intake stroke
The piston moves downward, the intake valve opens, and the filtered air is inhaled
2. Compression stroke
The piston moves upward, the intake and exhaust valves close, and the air is compressed to a high temperature and high pressure state
3. Power stroke
The injector sprays atomized diesel into the combustion chamber, mixes with the high-temperature air and ignites spontaneously. The explosion pushes the piston downward, driving the crankshaft to rotate and output mechanical energy
4. Exhaust stroke
The piston moves upward, the exhaust valve opens, and the exhaust gas is discharged

The
application of diesel generator1. Mine drilling and blasting
When drilling and blasting operations are carried out in production mines, fuel-fired mobile air compressors have the advantages of fast speed and high efficiency. Down-the-hole drills rely on the compressed air generated by the air compressor to generate impact energy for breaking rocks
2. Water, oil, and gas well drilling
Fuel-fired mobile air compressors are widely used in the drilling industry, and are used in conjunction with boosters and membrane nitrogen generators to provide compressed air required for high-pressure models.
3. Pipeline cleaning: After the construction of long-distance oil and gas pipelines is completed, fuel-fired mobile air compressors are used to clear debris blockages in the pipelines. High-pressure air pushes special rubber balls along the pipelines.
4. Public construction
In highway and railway construction projects, fuel-fired mobile air compressors are often used for bridge anti-corrosion spraying and tunnel construction.
5. Municipal engineering
In municipal engineering, they are generally used to drive pneumatic equipment such as pneumatic picks and breaker hammers to perform road crushing operations.
