Introduction to Oil-free Air Compressor
An oil-free air compressor means it does not use lubricating oil during the compression process. Through special design (precision rotor or water lubrication technology), it ensures that the output compressed gas is pure and free of impurities such as oil.

Types of Oil-free Air Compressors
Oil-free air compressors are divided into three categories according to the movement mode: screw air compressors, piston air compressors, and scroll air compressors. Screw air compressors are widely used in industrial production activities because of their energy-saving and high efficiency, high stability, high power, and wide range.

Working process of dry oil-free air compressor
1. Air treatment
The air enters the twin-screw cavity after dust removal by multi-layer filters, and the rotor achieves self-lubricating sealing through precision coating.

2. Contactless compression
There is a micron-level gap between the screws, the rotors rotate at high speed but do not touch, and the compression process is 100% oil-free

3. Post-processing process
The compressed air is cooled by the cooler, dehydrated by the dryer, and removed by the precision filter, and finally outputs clean gas

Working process of water-lubricated oil-free air compressor
1. Compression stage
The twin-screw rotors mesh and rotate, the volume between the teeth continues to decrease, and the air is compressed. Water is injected into the compression chamber to replace the lubricating oil to achieve sealing and lubrication.

2. Water treatment
The compressed gas-water mixture is dehydrated by the separator and the air is output; the separated water is recycled after cooling and filtration

3. Heat control
Water absorbs compression heat, which is approximately isothermal compression, with low energy consumption

Air compressors are rated based on the cleanliness of the compressed air, from ISO Class 0 to Class 5. Class Zero air represents the highest air quality. Oil-free air compressors are guaranteed to meet ISO Class Zero certification.

Airfler oil-free air compressors are fully independently developed, and both dry oil-free air compressors and water-lubricated oil-free air compressors are available. We provide one-stop air compressor system solution design and installation.
