Common causes and solutions for air compressor vibration
Air compressor mechanical structure problems
1. Rotor imbalance
Rotor carbon deposition and wear lead to uneven mass distribution, causing periodic vibration and noise. The rotor surface needs to be cleaned or dynamically balanced

2. Bearing problems
Bearing wear or poor lubrication will increase friction and temperature. Bearings that meet ABEC-3 standards need to be replaced and lithium-based grease should be used.

3. Coupling alignment deviation
The deviation between the motor and the air compressor shaft will transmit abnormal vibration. The balance needs to be recalibrated and the wear of the transmission core needs to be checked.

Abnormal airflow
1. Airflow pulsation
High-speed airflow forms a standing wave effect at the sudden change of pipe diameter. It is recommended to install a pulsation buffer.

2. Valve failure
Valve jamming or damage causes airflow fluctuations, abnormal noise and vibration.

Unstable installation
‌Unsound foundation: The equipment foundation is loose or insufficiently rigid, and needs to be reinforced and supported, and consideration should be given to optimizing the pipeline layout.
