Air compressor dryer installation diagram
Compressed air dryers are used to remove moisture from compressed air. Compressed air generally contains moisture sucked in by the air compressor. These moisture and oil will damage the compressed air pipeline system, so air compressor post-processing equipment is particularly important.

Main types of air compressors dryers
Common ones are refrigerated dryers and adsorption air dryers. When your air dryer does not require an extremely low dew point, a refrigerated dryer is sufficient to meet production needs. A properly installed air dryer can be used for a long time. How to install an air dryer? This article will introduce in detail the installation precautions and methods of air compressor dryers.

Working principle of air compressor dryer
Refrigerated dryers cool air to below the dew point through a refrigeration system to condense water vapor. Adsorption dryers use the physical properties of adsorbents (such as granular desiccant) to capture moisture.

Installation of air dryer diagram
I. Requirements for installation location of air dryer
1. Do not install in the open air, away from moisture, high temperature and vibration sources, ambient temperature ≤45℃
2. Reserve ≥1.5 meters of space on the top of the equipment for subsequent maintenance
3. The ground is level to prevent condensation water from stagnating
4. Take shock-absorbing measures on the base to avoid resonance

II. Installation of pipeline system
1. The inner diameter of the pipeline should be larger than the nominal size of the inlet and outlet of the dryer
2. The main pipeline needs to be purged before installation to remove impurities such as oil and dirt
3. The inlet and outlet are connected with shock-proof hoses
4. Pressure test is required after installation, and then purged twice

III. Electrical and drainage
1. Independent power supply, air compressor dryer shell grounded
2. A guide pipe needs to be set at the bottom of the condensate discharge port to avoid water accumulation

IV. Debugging and safety inspection
1. Confirm that ventilation and voltage are compliant before starting, and detect the inlet air temperature and pressure at the same time
2. Monitor the outlet dew point temperature to ensure that no secondary condensation occurs. Verify whether the automatic drainer and filter are normal

The above air dryer installation requirements can achieve smooth operation of the dryer.

The installation of a compressor dryer is not complicated. However, you need to understand the basic knowledge of air compressor dryers. Understanding the working principle of the dryer will help with installation.
